Terms of Use

Welcome to the Client Portal (the “Portal”), operated by Linea Analytics LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16291550 and registered office at 203 London Road Hadleigh, Benfleet, Essex, United Kingdom, SS7 2RD ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Portal and the services, data, dashboards and downloadable materials made available through it (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Portal you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Security

Authorised users only. Access to the Portal is limited to clients who have been issued a valid user account by us. You must keep your login credentials confidential and must not share them with any other person.
Account activity. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your credentials have been compromised.

2. Use of the Services

The Portal provides read‑only access to data, models and marketing‑mix‑modelling ("MMM") reports that we prepare for you under a separate services agreement (the "Project Data").
You may view, filter and download the Project Data as Excel files solely for your internal business purposes.
You must not (a) use the Services to provide services to third parties, (b) resell or sublicense the Services, or (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or data.

3. Data Hosting and Security

The Portal and all Project Data are hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Firebase Authentication, Cloud Run and related managed services.
We implement industry‑standard administrative, physical and technical safeguards designed to secure the Project Data against accidental or unlawful loss, access or disclosure.
You acknowledge that no internet‑based service can be guaranteed as 100 % secure and agree to use the Portal at your own risk.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual‑property rights in the Portal, the underlying software and our generic MMM methodologies belong to us or our licensors.
As between the parties, you retain all rights you may have in your own raw marketing data provided to us for the MMM project.
Except for the limited licence in Clause 2, nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual‑property rights to you.

5. Confidentiality

Project Data and any other non‑public information disclosed through the Portal are confidential. You must (a) keep such information strictly confidential and (b) use it only for the purpose of evaluating your marketing performance internally.

6. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data in connection with the Portal are described in our Privacy Notice, available at linea-analytics.com/privacy-policy.html.

7. Disclaimers

The Portal and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
The Project Data depend on third‑party platforms (e.g., ad networks) and statistical models; we do not warrant that any forecast or optimisation result is accurate or will achieve any particular outcome.

8. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law. Subject to that, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid to us for the MMM services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if (a) you breach these Terms, (b) required to do so by law, or (c) the underlying services agreement terminates. Clauses 4–8 and 11 survive termination.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give at least 30 days’ notice via the Portal or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
